European Leagues

European Leagues’ main goal is to enhance and protect competitive balance in league competitions.

The European Leagues gather 39 professional football leagues representing more than 1130 clubs in 33 countries across Europe.

As the common voice of competition organisers at domestic level and professional football club employers at European level, the European Leagues seeks to enhance and protect the competitive balance of professional football competitions within European Football.

The European Leagues believes that it is in the interest of all domestic leagues, all national associations and the vast majority of European clubs to defend and strengthen the competitive balance of football – for the good of the game, the players, the fans and the clubs.
