Next meeting of the Club Advisory Platform (CAP) to be held in Amsterdam on 16 June

Building on the success and interest of previous editions, the European Leagues will hold the next Club Advisory Platform in Amsterdam on 16 June 2022. The CAP is a platform which gathers all Professional Football Clubs and Stakeholders across Europe to discuss important developments in European and world Football which affect club in a direct or indirect way.

Following the recent approval of the final format and access list for the UEFA club competitions as of the 2024/25 season, the CAP will be essential for leagues and clubs to be informed about the details of these changes and the impacts that these decisions will have on both domestic and European club competitions. In this context, the upcoming discussion and negotiation to implement a fairer post 2024 UCC revenue distribution model will be key to grant the long-term financial sustainability of all professional football clubs and preserve the dream of all fans groups in Europe to see their local club achieving sporting success.

In addition to the recent UEFA club competitions decisions, important regulatory topics that clubs could face all along their season will be addressed in Amsterdam. Topics such as players agent regulations, the new regulations on loans and the new financial sustainability regulations.

On the occasion, the European Leagues will also present and launch the new CAP digital platform which aims to enhance the CAP so to offer the opportunity to more clubs from more countries to be involved in the international football debate while engaging clubs to protect together domestic football and its ecosystem.

Attending the CAP is very relevant for both clubs who play regularly in international competitions and those clubs who mainly perform in domestic league competitions. Therefore, we look forward to welcoming all professional football clubs in Europe to join this meeting in Amsterdam.
