The European Leagues was pleased to join the World Leagues Association Annual Meeting in Cairo, Egypt, on 14 and 15 November 2024.

Over the course of two days, productive discussions and collaborative meetings fostered enhanced cooperation and joint work between our two associations. With shared members and, above all, shared values and objectives, we reaffirmed our commitment to protecting and developing national football.

Key topics at the heart of the discussions included the protection of the match calendar, the development of the transfer system, the growth of women’s football, and the enhancement of stakeholder relations. These priorities remain central to the agendas of both the European Leagues and the World Leagues Association, reflecting our mutual dedication to ensuring the sustainable growth and integrity of football both in Europe and at global level.
