Responding to our members’ requests and continuing to focus on knowledge sharing as a fundamental part of the EPFL Administration’s role and services it provides to its members, a business focused workshop was held at Lega Serie B’s headquarters. The one day event covered a variety of topics, presented by both league and guest speakers, including;
- Commercial Trends in Sport,
- League Marketing/Branding,
- New Technologies (Virtual Reality),
- Fan Engagement,
- Media Rights, and
- Data Management.
The workshop was part of an ongoing series of events that will be based around the three key areas of Governance, Football and Business Matters. Each area will be covered by a mixture of events, workshops and the development of a new Information Management Platform to share and manage the vast range of information available to our members.
The EPFL aims to provide a unique environment and exclusive network for the sharing of football industry intelligence and best practices. Knowledge sharing is an important part of the Administration’s core remit to support the development of our members’ leagues. In addition to sharing best practices, the EPFL aims to showcase the latest trends in the sports industry to help prepare our members for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
