On behalf of the Association of European Professional Football Leagues (EPFL), we have the pleasure in inviting you to attend the EPFL Conference entitled PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL: MUCH MORE THAN A GAME; MUCH MORE THAN A BUSINESS, which will take place on Monday and Tuesday, 4 – 5 June 2007, in Berlin, at the Grande Hotel Esplanade.
Integrated in the EPFL Cycle of Conferences on “The Future of Professional Football in Europe and hosted by the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga, this Conference is primary addressed to the European Leagues.
It is aimed to debate the economic impact and dimension of the professional side of the game and the valuable social role that it also performs in European society, identifying opportunities and obstacles in both areas and verifying how can Professional Football best assimilate the new commercial framework in which it must develop, while preserving at the same time its essence and integrity, which underpin the social function it also pursuits.
With this primary aim, the EPFL has invited a number of personalities to share their views on such significant matters, as per terms of the Programme attached hereto.
Media representatives wishing to attend the EPFL event, as well as the Press Conference, which will take place immediately after the end of the second day of the meeting, are requested to return the enclosed registration form by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and/or by fax +49 69 65005-557, no later than 30 May 2007.
