EPFL promotes European Social Dialogue in Poland

The EPFL has taken the initiative of organising, in Poland, an International Workshop on European Social Dialogue in the Professional Football . The event shall place on the 23rd of February 2011 at the Polish Olympic Committee premises in the country’s capital (Wybrzeze Gdynskie 4, 01-531 Warsaw, Poland), from 13:00 to 16:00.
Hosted by the Polish Football League (Ekstraklasa), the main purpose of this initiative is to offer a comprehensive overview of the work developed by the social partners within the scope of the EU Social Dialogue and address the general principles contained in the so-called Autonomous Agreement as well as its implementation in Poland and eastern European countries.
The EPFL Workshop is open to all European Leagues and respective clubs. In addition to the EPFL the Polish Leagues’ representatives and respective clubs, a high number of stakeholders has been invited to participate in it, ranging from the European Commission and FIFPro to the Polish FA and players’ union. UEFA and the ECA, who have promptly backed this initiative, have already confirmed their active engagement too.
