European Leagues to share key messages and values of European Commission Initiative
The Association of European Professional Football Leagues (EPFL) will be supporting the 2016 edition of the European Week of Sport (EWoS) campaign through the initiatives and activities of its Members Leagues.
As an official EWoS Partner, the European Leagues agree with the principles and objectives of the campaign and support the promotion of participation in sport and physical activity. The European Leagues will contribute to raising awareness of the initiatives developed by the European Commission through their communication platforms and European wide fan base. By leveraging the reach and popularity of the most successful leagues in the world, the EPFL will help share the key messages that sport not only provides many health benefits but can bring people together and positively contribute to our society.
In addition, this year the EPFL Chairman, Lars-Christer Olsson, will be a key note speaker at the European Commission Conference on Good Governance in Sport as part of the European Week of Sport’s Flagship Event.
